Tokyo, 20 feb - Sono salite a 45 le persone a bordo del Boeing 747 atterrato a Tokyo rimaste ferite a causa di turbolenze in volo. Lo ha riferito un portavoce dell'aeroporto Narita della capitale giapponese, precisando che sono 3 e non 10 i feriti gravi. Le ambulanze hanno portato i feriti negli ospedali locali dopo che l'aereo della compagnia americana Northwest Airlines con 408 passeggeri e 14 membri dell'equipaggio e' atterrato all'aeroporto di Narita alle 12:19 locali (le 4:19 italiane). ''Le nostri ultime informazioni - ha spiegato il portavoce - indicano che 39 passeggeri sono rimasti feriti oltre a sei membri dell'equipaggio''.

Giappone, ex comico guarda a ruolo di primo ministro

Un famoso comico giapponese diventato governatore ha offerto oggi un accordo al partito in carica, dichiarando che entrerà nel Partito Liberale Democratico (Ldp), ma solo se potrà esserne il prossimo leader.

giappone comico governatoreIl Partito Liberale Democratico del primo ministro Taro Aso sta cercando di riaffermare la propria popolarità, ma sta restando indietro nei sondaggi d'opinione, rischiando essere battuto dal Partito Democratico all'opposizione alle elezioni generali previste entro ottobre. Hideo Higashikokubaru, governatore conservatore della prefettura di Miyazaki, nella parte meridionale del Giappone, ha spiegato che il direttore della campagna elettorale dell'Lpd gli ha chiesto di candidarsi alle elezioni generali, che secondo molti analisti si terranno in agosto. "Ho chiesto se l'Lpd è pronto a battersi per queste elezioni con me come candidato a prossimo leader del partito", ha detto Higashikokubaru ai giornalisti. Higashikokubaru partecipa spesso a talk show televisivi in cui commenta questioni di politica nazionale e la sua immagine appare sui cartelloni pubblicitari di prodotti locali che vanno dal mango ai polli alla griglia per promuoverne le vendite.

La sconfitta elettorale dell'Lpd, che sostiene le imprese, segnerebbe la fine di oltre 50 anni di governo quasi ininterrotto del partito, che sta perdendo sostegno a causa della recessione e dell'aumento dei costi della sicurezza sociale.

Alcuni esperti di politica dubitano della funzionalità dell'idea, anche se uno di loro sostiene che l'Lpd potrebbe acconsentire se fosse davvero disperato.

Per consentire a Higashikokubaru di candidarsi come leader, il partito dovrebbe cambiare le proprie regole, perché attualmente solo i membri del parlamento sono eleggibili alla carica più alta. Promettergli di dargli il ruolo che chiede dopo le elezioni potrebbe essere difficile.

"Se l'Lpd accettasse questa condizione, i legislatori del partito si infurierebbero. Non ci sono possibilità che accetti", ha detto l'analista Minoru Morita.

Ha aggiunto di ritenere poco probabile che gli elettori possano essere influenzati positivamente dalla scelta del partito di Higashikokubaru come prossimo leader.

"Gli elettori sono molto seri. Lui è popolare, ma non come potenziale primo ministro", ha detto.
