Bandita anche la duplicazione fatta in casa dal legittimo proprietario del disco per un uso esclusivamente personale

Il Giappone si prepara a mettere al bando senza eccezioni la copia dei film in Dvd e Blu-ray, anche con la duplicazione fatta in casa dal legittimo proprietario del disco per un uso esclusivamente personale.

Secondo quanto riporta il quotidiano 'Asahi', l'Agenzia governativa per gli Affari culturali intende mettere a punto un provvedimento per modificare l'attuale legge sul copyright, da presentare in Parlamento il prossimo anno. Al centro dell'iniziativa c'è il divieto assoluto di copia dei dischi, permesso invece dalle norme vigenti limitatamente a fini privati e senza scopo di lucro, anche se non è prevista l'istituzione di una pena per la duplicazione casalinga illegale.

Insieme al divieto di copia, l'Agenzia inserirà una serie di norme per rendere fuori legge i software che permettono tramite il computer di decifrare codici criptati dei dischi commerciali, che vengono in questo modo resi usufruibili per la registrazione e la riproduzione su altri supporti non autorizzati. Anche il mercato dei videogame sarà tutelato dalla nuova normativa: saranno infatti definitivamente messe al bando anche le controverse modifiche effettuate sulle console, che consistono nell'aggiunta di un chip interno capace di far leggere alla macchina anche i giochi piratati normalmente non riconosciuti.
